SecureCRT gives
you an encrypted SSH session with both SSH1 and SSH2™ servers. SSH
security goes far beyond the basic secure logon, rerouting data or
local applications using TCP/IP ports through an encrypted channel.
The VCP utility secures file transfers using SFTP.
For SSH, telnet
and other protocols, SecureCRT has great session management amd
customization features, with named sessions and multiple session
windows. Rock-solid emulations include VT100, VT102, VT220, ANSI, SCO
ANSI and Linux console.
For local
applications using TCP/IP ports, SecureCRT can reroute data to an
encrypted data channel between your local machine and an SSH server.
The server "forwards" the data to other servers. For
example, SMTP, POP and IMAP can be secured with port forwarding.
